INGREDIENTS:
-Vegetable oil for frying
-3/4 cup cornstarch
-1/4 cup yucca flour
-1/2 cup grated cheese (queso fresco)
-1 cup grated feta cheese
-2 whole eggs
-2 tablespoons sugar
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-salt to taste
-1 tablespoon whole milk
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients in a bowl minus the oil until you get a dough texture.
Form small balls for cooking.
Heat vegetable oil to 300°F in a large pot.
Slowly and carefully drop the balls into the oil.
Cover the pot for 3 to 4 minutes.
Turn the heat up and fry until golden brown.
Remove and lay in a plate lined with paper towels.
